Animal Control Officer: Tom Crew
The Keokuk Animal Services facility at 249 Carbide Lane is open to the public Monday through Friday from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
Keokuk Animal Services provides food, shelter, and care for the lost and homeless animals of the City of Keokuk.
Keokuk Animal Services relies heavily on the generous donations of supplies and monetary gifts from the public in order to provide the necessary needs of the facility.
Keokuk’s Animal Control Officer is available from 7:30 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.

Keokuk’s Animal Control Officer is Tom Crew. Tom began his duties as the Animal Control Officer in October 2015. His duties include enforcing city and state animal codes, investigating animal neglect, cruelty, abuse and bite report cases.
Shelter personnel includes three part-time employees.
