Rand Park

57 acres between 15th and 17th – Grand & Orleans Avenue

River vista, outdoor entertainment pavilion, picnic shelters, picnic areas, playground equipment, flower garden, tennis court, basketball court, kiddie play area, reflection pond, disc golf course, restrooms.

The flower garden and gazebo may be rented for weddings at a charge of $30.00. The 16th and Orleans Building may be rented for a refundable $10.00 deposit. Reservations can also be made for the large and small shelters. Reservations can be made by calling 524-2050 between 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. weekdays.

Rand Park Pavilion

In July of 2009 Keokuk dedicated a new and gorgeous Rand Park Pavilion. This magnificent pavilion, heralded by thousands, will provide joy and relaxation for generations to come. This pavilion, funded entirely by private donations, speaks volumes of the generosity of countless businesses and private citizens who have the Keokuk can do spirit.

Annual events at Rand Park:

  • 4th of July Celebrations
  • The City of Christmas opens Thanksgiving night through Christmas night.
  • Disc Golf Tournaments

Tolmie Park

24.2 acres at 2938 Plank Road

Swimming Pool, tennis courts, picnic area, handicap-accessible playground equipment ( also known as “Bentley’s Playground”), jogging trail, basketball court, roller hockey rink, skateboard ramp, seasonal restrooms in the park and restrooms in the Tolmie Building.

The Tolmie Building may be rented for a $50.00 fee and a $50.00 deposit and the shelter house may be reserved of no charge by calling 524-2050 between 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. weekdays.

Triangle Park

0.1 acres between 5th and 6th on Grand Avenue

Basketball court, playground equipment, picnic area.

Victory Park

5 acres at Main Street and Water Front

Shelter available for reservation. There is electricity on site and restrooms. (no charge for reservation) Playground equipment, fishing, George M. Verity (river boat museum), scenic view of river, power house and lock and dam, RV hook-up in area, seasonal restrooms.

Rolling on the River is held annually the 3rd weekend in August.

Kiser Park

2.1 acres at 14th & Palean Street

Playground equipment, ball field, basketball court, seasonal restrooms.

Joyce Park

54 acres at 3574 Highway 218 (US Highway 218/61)
Baseball, softball fields, concession stand, restrooms.

Tumelty Park

2.1 acres at 18th & High Street

Lighted ball field with bleachers, concession and restrooms available for ball games and tournaments, basketball court and seasonal restrooms.

Rees Park

4+ acres developed at 2000 Block of South 7th Street

Playground equipment, seasonal restrooms, lighted ball field with bleachers and basketball court.

Riverview Park

6.8 acres between Water Street & 2nd – Exchange & Bank Streets

Shelter, benches, play area.

Bluff Park

4.5 acres at Park Street between G & I

Picnic areas, picnic shelter (reservations required), playground equipment, river vista.

Kilbourne Park

4.5 acres at 19th & Timea Street

Picnic areas, shelter (reservations required), playground equipment, kiddie play area, basketball court, seasonal restrooms.

Hubinger Landing

6.0 acres on Mississippi Drive

RV – hook-ups including water and electrical, river vista.
For information call 319-524-2050 Ext 108. No spots can be reserved ahead of time and payment is received at Southside Boat Club (adjacent to the RV spots).
Fees: $16 per night, $14 per night for seniors
